Role Summary/Purpose
The HSE specialists will provide daily operational HSE advice and subject matter expertise to the outputs of the Subsea Centre of Excellence (CoE).  As part of the HSE team the post holder will be engaged in all facets of HSE proactive and reactive outputs.  This role will work with Operations, Product & Project teams to support key site goals.
Essential Responsibilities
·   Provide a robust HSE support function to all areas within specific site area
  • Operational support, when required, to any area of the clients centre of excellence.
  • Lead and develop site HSE initiatives as directed by the site HSE leader.
· Lead and participate within Journey to HSE Excellence programmes and be prepared to remotely mentor other OFE sites.
·  Lead ISO 14001/45001 management systems including internal audit programme.
·  Lead investigations, where required, in response to HSE events.
·  Drive operational implementation of new HSE procedures and policies and initiatives
  • Close liaison with Project HSE representatives and close customer dialogue reference HSE defences and arrangements.
  • Management of the Gensuite HSE system for data collection and dissemination of HSE events, inspections, tracking of actions and use of all Gensuite tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of Subsea equipment manufacturing/servicing operations
  • HSE experience gained within Subsea manufacturing/servicing operations
  • Formal HSE qualification – NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Auditing experience across ISO 14001/45001 standards
  • Experience of UK manufacturing sector HSE principals and Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene and safety defences

·  Experience of building and supporting teams to deal with localized problems
