Due to growth, a major player in the Electrical Engineering space is searching for a HV/MV Project Manager to service multiple MV/HV Electrical projects across Ireland. This role is focused on the planning and execution of high voltage and medium voltage projects, requiring 5 years or more of experience across substations, transmission and distribution networks.This role will see you based in our client's West Dublin offices for 2-3 days per week, with travel to site expected around Ireland. Design Manager The Design Manager will lead a specialist engineering design team, overseeing technical delivery, interfaces, commercial matters, and project documentation. The role acts as a technical authority within the organisation, responsible for developing team capability, ensuring quality, and managing budgets, risks, and contract variations.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as primary client contact and coordinate project opportunities.Lead and manage the team to deliver high-quality work on time and to required standards.Oversee and approve design checks, reviews, constructability assessments, and technical sign-off.Ensure team competence, compliance with UK regulations, and adherence to CDM2015.Manage risk, including HAZOP/HAZID/HAZAN activities, and ensure construction/operational needs are met in designs.Apply project management techniques for accurate forecasting, programming, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.Contribute to the development and improvement of quality systems and processes.Essential RequirementsBachelor's or master's degree in engineeringChartered EngineerStrong knowledge of the UK Energy sector and DNO clients.Proven multidisciplinary project management and commercial understanding.Experience with CDM2015 and health & safety responsibilities.Proficient in Autodesk and MS365.Strong communication skills and experience preparing tenders/proposals. ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. 📢 Now Hiring: Senior Civil Engineer (12-Month Contract) 📍 Dublin | Hybrid (2 days onsite/week) 🗓 Start: January 2026We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to support planning and early-stage development of major high-voltage infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multidisciplinary coordination, technical problem-solving, and guiding projects from concept through planning approval.🔧 Key Responsibilities: * Produce planning-stage civil engineering designs for HV substation projects * Coordinate specialist inputs (hydrology, ecology, geotechnical, etc.) * Act as Lead Engineer-managing design inputs, stakeholders, fees, and schedules * Oversee and specify sub-consultant and subcontractor work * Engage with local authorities, landowners, and project partners * Support continuous improvement through feedback and lessons learned * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability * Champion a strong safety culture across all activities🎓 Skills & Experience: * 5+ years' civil engineering or planning-stage design experience * Strong technical design background and excellent communication skills * Proven success delivering complex or large-scale projects * Commercial awareness and strong report-writing ability * Level 8 engineering degree required; chartership (or in progress) preferred * Full driver's licence and ability to travel nationwide occasionally * SafePass & manual-handling training required (can be completed before start)📍 Location & Working Style: Based in Dublin (hybrid model).
