We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable EHS Coordinator to join the service operations of a major wind turbine manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring EHS management systems are in place and driving EHS performance in line with business expectations. This position requires the willingness and flexibility to travel 100% of the time, both nationally and internationally as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and inspections of EHS management systems and manage any third-party EHS inspections, ensuring on-time closure of audit findings.
  • Conduct EHS orientations and assist third-party representatives in understanding on-site EHS expectations.
  • Liaise with a diverse range of third parties, including customers, contractors/subcontractors, emergency services, and regulatory agencies on EHS matters as necessary.
  • Manage and coordinate both leading and lagging EHS events, including concerns, findings, non-conformances, incidents, and emergency response or drills, ensuring completion of robust corrective actions as per EHS expectations and local legislative requirements.
  • Be engaged in all areas of site operation and be able to problem-solve with digitization tools to drive process improvement and remove or reduce risk on site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy industry setting.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel 100% of the time, both nationally and internationally.
