CERTIFICATIONS Preferably with a background in Engineering

  • Preferably an engineering background and knowledge.
  • Able to coordinate and manage multiple activities.
  • Able to support and help prioritise others work to obtain the information required, but also identify issues / shortfalls and provide pragmatic suggestions on alternative options or potential compromises.
  • Good presentation skills - clear and concise.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to collate and format data.

SCOPE OF WORKS

This is a specialist role at London Array to help investigate, coordinate and manage a number of insurance claims with some dating back to over 4 years ago. The role will require a detailed mind to be able to collate the timeline of events from historical data, working with teams to help put the puzzles together and in some cases provide engineering decisions on situations.

The role will work directly with the insurers and will work with the site team, in some cases the claims have tight timescales and need to be prioritised accordingly.

The insurers will help provide guidance and questions on what information is required, but an element of self drive and completion will be required within the role.

DELIVERABLES

  • Manage the various insurance claims and complete the relevant checklist for each of the projects, by:

o Identifying sources of information and obtaining the information required.

o Working with London Array and RWE teams to ensure that they provide information and driving the prioritization with those teams.

o Where possible review the data to ensure of its quality.

o Self-managing and checking of each of the claims prior to submission.

o Managing multiple cases at a time, through various stages.

o Regularly present to site management team the progress of these insurance claims.

o Presenting results to the internal and external stakeholders (insurance brokers, claims consultants and loss adjusters)

o Assist where ever possible the completion of the tasks required in the investigation, such as Root cause Analysis, Data acquisition, collating of information.
