We are creating a new Thermal Digital team to deliver an exciting range of digital initiatives to transform the way in which our Thermal directorate teams manage assets. If you are excited about how digital can really assist in driving value in a challenging large scale engineering environment then this could be the role for you.
Role:
- Working with Product Owner to build a new Digital value stream delivering the digital transformation within our Thermal
- Digital enthusiast
- Passion for innovation and problem solving
- Agile native - comfortable switching between Scrum, Kanban, RAD, XP as required
- Asset management background (Energy or Utilities)
- Servant leadership style
- Comfortable fulfilling Scrum master role when required
- Ability to switch between Horizons (Horizon 3, Research and Development Fail-fast mentality to Horizon 2 - Implementing and updating current working practices in a change controlled environment)
- Comfortable actively leading R&D digital discussions working out opportunities to transform Digital asset management practices to optimise value to the business
- Full Product lifecycle view (Prototype, Pilot, Delivery, Operations, End-of-Life)
- Comfortable adopting Double Diamond Design approach to tackling business challenges
- Design thinking approach
- 1st class communicator - comfortable with Rich multi-media approach to communication
- Finance management - You will be tracking the budget for the team and raising Purchase requests and Purchase Orders on behalf of the Product Owner
- Supplier management - You will be working closely with and engaging 3rd party suppliers to assist in delivery the team goals.
- Change management - Event planning, Multi-media Communication, Workshops, Knowledge management - Comfortable organising effective change management etc
- Risk management - You will assist in the maintenance and management of Risks for the team.
