Service Engineer 2 Stroke Engines

We are now looking for a technical driven team-player, you will be challenged with commissioning projects as well as trouble shooting problems on board of our client's vessels or power plants. also working together with an international team on one of the three big "Bear" projects which are being executed as we speak to decarbonize the huge container and cargo shipping fleet all around the world will be one of the frequent jobs.

What will you be doing?

In this position, your work will include troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and modify engines and their auxiliary equipment according to detailed specifications. On a typical day, you might be starting with exchanging a fuel-pump and end the day with analysing engine performance. You will not be working on this alone, even though the work requires a high level of independency, you will have the support from our Technical Service experts and colleagues.

For us to be the best match, we expect you to have basic knowledge of Electronics, Mechatronics, you know the inside out of low-speed engines and a mixture of oil and blood is running thru your veins.

As an ideal candidate, you have gained experience from the field and knowledge of reading and understanding technical drawings and bulletins. For you to succeed in the position, we hope you to be good with technologies that we are using nowadays, and you are a team-player.
