Responsibilities:

• Managing the concept design of new and novel offshore wind turbine foundation structures for offshore wind turbines, during the origination and development phases of a project
• Delivery of the detailed design, a safe and high quality fabrication, and delivery of foundation structures once a project enters the construction phase.
• Manage Request for Quotations together with Procurement and create a high-quality but cost effective supply chain concept
• Making sure that work is delivered on time and identifying and mitigating any potential delays
• Maintenance of the high safety standards within the company through intelligent design and risk management

Requirements:

• Experience in offshore engineering, seismic experience a plus
• Project management experience in steel fabrication
• Knowledge of the local and global HSSE laws and standards
• To be based in Japan either permanently or for prolonged periods of time. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Good communicator and excellent team player
• Fluent spoken and written English, Japanese language skills would be desirable
