Head of group Health, Safety and Environment
Responsibilities
- Overseeing HSE units across the group, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with corporate policies
- Developing and executing a strategic vision for integrated HSE initiatives, aligning with business goals and global standards
- Driving cultural change, establishing and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet regulatory requirements and international best practices
- Establishing KPIs and metrics to measure HSE and sustainability program effectiveness, and presenting reports to the Management Board, Risk Management, Sustainability Committee, and Supervisory Board
- Conducting regular safety and environmental audits to identify hazards, ensure compliance, and reduce environmental impact
- Monitoring compliance with local and international HSE regulations and ensuring contractors and suppliers adhere to safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- 7-10 years in international HSE roles, including managerial or executive positions, with a track record of leading successful group-level projects, preferably in the energy sector
- Proven experience in implementing and advancing HSE best practices, standards, and safety culture in large-scale international organizations
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations, international standards, safety management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and sustainability practices
- Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or related fields
- Relevant international certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Environmental Professional)
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders and lead cultural change at all organizational levels.
