You are responsible for the definition, coordination, management and planning of the commissioning activities and in particular the taking over of the windfarm (including all sub-systems) and its handover to Asset Management.

Ensure that the commissioning activities comply with the project requirements in terms of quality, planning and performance.

Ensure that the technical departments' best practices are implemented.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Define, implement and maintain the Commissioning Plan and associated procedures to coordinate the commissioning activities,

Ensure Project HSE requirements and particularly electrical safety are implemented and followed

Ensure the Project conforms and will perform to the performance expectations of the Asset Manager and the Project Documents (PPA, etc.)

Lead the commissioning of the Employer's supplied systems (e.g. Communication Systems, SCADA Systems, PI Historian, O&M Base Systems)

Ensure interfaces with other parties and work in direct interfaces, when required, with the project team leaders: EPCI Director, Asset Manager(s), QHSE managers, Consent Managers, Site Construction Managers, SCADA Managers, etc.

Establish and manage sub-project organization/groups, including split and delegation of responsibility for commissioning activities,

Ensure internal and external lessons learnt sessions are performed and actions are implemented in order to optimize the commissioning,

During engineering

Review and comment contractor's commissioning documentation and challenge the proposed commissioning plan and procedures and ensure alignment with overall Commissioning Management Plan,

Create commissioning and test plans for Owner/Client systems and interfaces between Contractors, or Client and Contractor

Participate in all relevant reviews such as early HAZOPs, HAZIDs, technical reviews, organization, etc.

Ensure commissioning procedures and test plans are in line with Asset Management, O&M, and Project requirements in terms of content and performance.

Experience / qualification :

- Mandatory: 15 years' minimum experience in windfarm commissioning Works.

- Mandatory: already putting in place a windfarm commissioning program with good success

Skills :

Strong background in electrical engineering, communication and commissioning operations

Autonomous

Good communication skills

Ability to manage contractors

Strong background in QHSE, management of risk and electrical safety
