Planning, conception and installation of Multi-site Netapp environments

3rd Level Troubleshooting of NetApp storage systems (operation, maintenance and care of the systems)

Participate in PoC and solution tests

Consult and support to establish best practice solutions together with application owners

Participate in Migration projects

Monitor storage request queues

Create and present new storage to Servers

Allocate SAN switch ports to new SAN attached Servers

Decommission storage for Servers that have all or partially decommissioned storage

Decommission SAN switch ports for decommissioned Servers

Process expansion of storage requests

Raise incidents for low-level hardware faults (redundant drive failures etc.)

Escalate incidents for medium and high level faults to London storage team.

Raise access requests for vendor engineers to replace faulty components.

Create new host groups on SAN switch and arrays.

Delete host groups on SAN Switches and arrays for decommissioned Servers

Create/amend or delete qtrees on NetApp

Create/amend or delete shares on NetApp

Amend quota files on Netapp

Manage 3rd Party Engineers working on storage systems
