The (Junior) Project Engineer

  • Reports to the Building Package Manager

  • Works in a dedicated multidisciplinary team together with, amongst others, the platform & cable engineers, procurements officers, HSE experts, PMO officer, …

  • You support the development of the project during all phases

  • As the project engineer you will assist the respective package managers during concept, design & tender phase. With a main focus on platform/building auxiliaries. But with the opportunity to explore other domains, a non-exhaustive list can be found below:

    • Platform Engineering Consultant follow-up

    • Substation integration

    • Prepare documentation (creation of technical specification and requirements) using concepts, procedures, codes & standards

    • General follow-up of documentation (report, schematics,…)

    • Certifying body follow-up

    • Assist with diverse tasks (e.g.: document management, make visio/drawings, manage action lists,…)



Additional requirements:
Hard skills and soft skills:

Must have:

  • You have at least 2 years of working experience

  • Education: Engineer (preferably Electrical/Electromechanical)

  • Being able to write processes, specifications and documents

  • Experience in building techniques -- very technical profile

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Working structured, independent and precise



Nice to have:

    • Experience in the offshore sector is a plus

    • Experience in the energy sector is a plus

  • You have project-management experience and/or expertise in high-voltage matter

  • You are a smooth, assertive communicator and a resourceful accountable team player

  • A quick learner

  • Excellent MS Office skills



Languages:

    • Fluently written and spoken in English and Dutch

    • French is a plus



Additional information:

  • Start: ASAP, mission until 31/05/2022 (with the intention of extension)

  • Full time

  • Preferably full time resident in Belgium

  • Possible short national and international business trips to contractors, vendors, clients, etc.
