Lead/Senior Electrical Engineer (Marine)

Multidisciplinary projects, technically complex issues, various types of ships: as a Senior Electrical Engineer you work on projects to which even you as a specialist do not immediately have an answer. Sometimes you will be involved in large-scale projects from concept to detailed design, and sometimes you will work on smaller intensive projects. Your role is crucial in the design of electrical installations, drive systems and automation on board ships, but also in the realisation of innovations. In the field of electrical engineering, you are the point of contact for customers and colleagues, work together with other electrical engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the discipline.

Essential skills/experience/qualifications:
You have at least 5 years of work experience and specialist knowledge of concept and basic design. The profession has no secrets for you. You like to explore the boundaries of what is technically feasible and know how to bring innovations on board. You love diversity in projects and do not shy away from a challenge. And whatever type of ship you are working on, you understand the project context and have an overview of the whole. In addition, you have the drive to want to improve and renew continuously. We therefore expect you to always be up to date with the latest developments and actively think about how we, as a company, can best keep up with them.
