This role is for a senior solution architect to lead and assist with delivery on a digital programme of work.
Delivery within this programme covers a broad range of areas including: Asset Management Systems Electric Vehicle Charging solutions, Digital Thread solutions and end to end project and asset services. Contact Centre services, Data lake, Data Integration.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading the architecture delivery in transformation programmes and will have experience of the deployment of Building Information Modelling capabilities, asset management and the associated management of information requirements.
Additionally, a candidate with experience of deploying technology for end to end engineering project support will be valued.


This role is expected to support the business and process owners by:
* Being able to explain complex concepts in simple terms
* Analysing ways to improve existing process and systems
* Identifying right sized solutions for a cost and value sensitive organisation.
* Working closely with professionals within our client to ensure appropriate technical resources is available for delivery
* Working to existing frameworks and liaise across the organisation
* Accounting for possible project challenges on constraints including risks, time, resources, and scope
* Working closely with project delivery teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
* Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions
* Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution

Expected qualities include:
* Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure, with demonstrable understanding of cloud components from the likes of AWS and Microsoft.
* Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures whilst liaising with the wider security team
* Experience in software engineering and architecture design. Modelling experience would is considered highly advantageous using notations such as UML, SYSML and ArchiMate.
* Positive outlook, meeting challenges, and delivering high quality outcomes
* Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes
* Project leadership skills with the ability to aid the scoping and shaping of project definitions.
* Professional experience delivering, supporting, and analysing computer hardware and software
* Extensive knowledge and experience working across a variety of solutions and operating systems
