Responsibilities/仕事内容

  • Provide translation of documents into either Japanese or English language
  • Serve as an interpreter for meetings, teleconferences, presentations, and similar
  • Provide consecutively or simultaneously interpretation into either Japanese or English language
  • Complete work activities on schedule and with high quality
  • Ensure strong document control is in place and that documents are stored appropriately
  • Reach out for briefings and/or prepare through reading or study on subject matter to improve delivery
  • Conduct feedback sessions to enable continuous improvement
  • Develop and foster collaborative working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs as well as the wishes of the employee.


Requirements/必要な資格やスキル

  • Degree, certification or similar in translation and interpretation
  • Multiple years of professional experience in carrying out translation and interpretation services (at least 5 years experience, preferably in electrical, or mechanical engineering industry)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
  • Positive energy towards project challenges as well as learning and adapting to business dynamics
  • Owner's mentality in taking responsibility for deliverables
  • Proactive relationship builder with an open communication style
  • Self-motivated, well organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to manage, control and deliver against multiple projects and work requests in a timely manner
  • Able to manage collaborative relationships with contractors and suppliers
