Electrical Designer

Designer high voltage:
The Designer High Voltage (HV) service is responsible for the design of the HV installations. He draws up the plans and documents during the preliminary and study phase for the realization of new HV installations, and the modification, expansion or replacement of existing HV installations.

This service mainly includes the following tasks:
· Carrying out preliminary studies in collaboration with the Project Leader
· Drawing up the implantation plans for the permit application files
· Compilation of the safety file and submission for inspection to the prevention advisor
· Drawing up the execution plans (planting plans, equipment plans, plans of the necessary steel structures, etc.)
· Drawing up the corresponding plan lists, lists of steel structures, terminal lists, etc.
· Checking the coherence of the construction files with the own HV study
· Monitoring the coherence of the own HV study with the related studies CW, LA&S and SecSys
· Ad-hoc support of the Project Leader during the execution works
· The design of the installations is based on the existing harmonization and takes into account the ergonomic and safety rules in force. The design is done in 3D using MicroStation as a design tool. In his design, the designer HV service also integrates the needs of adjacent disciplines such as power links for the line and cable arrivals in the substation concerned, structural engineering for the buildings part, foundations and site layout aspects, etc.

Service Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, mechanics or construction.
· Perfect command of Dutch or French, understanding of the 2nd national language, willingness to develop.
· Knowledge of MicroStation (training suggested by Elia) v8i and MS-Office package.
· Fluent assertive communicator who is customer focused, values team spirit and is resourceful.
