The ideal candidate should be a talented wind professional with a strong background in service, possessing expertise in leading teams, managing contracts, and ensuring the peak performance of wind farms.
- Oversee and manage wind service operations across Japan.
- Ensure the timely and efficient execution of wind turbine maintenance and service activities.
- Lead a dedicated team of wind service technicians and engineers.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the service team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communications and issue resolution.
- Conduct regular site visits to wind farms for inspections, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to optimize wind turbine performance and reliability.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of wind engineering to provide technical guidance and support to the service team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in wind energy.
- Analyze performance data from wind turbines to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Implement data-driven strategies to enhance overall wind farm efficiency.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage budgets for wind service operations.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Ensure that all service activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in wind engineering, with a focus on wind turbine service and maintenance.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Fluency in Japanese is a must.
- Fluent English is highly desirable for effective communication with clients and wind turbine manufacturers.
