Description
  • You will be responsible for the design reviews with respect to the electrical, instrumentation and communications items of the design. Such as:
  • Platform SCADA system and the HMI
  • Interaction of the platform SCADA with the High Voltage control system (HV control system itself does not belong to the responsibilities
  • 400V AC power distribution (including lighting and small power)
  • DC battery back-up systems
  • Control of HVAC
  • Communication Topology
  • Integration of the secondary control system for the HV components
  • Data network (hardware)
  • Process instrumentation
  • You align with the experts and teams within Offshore NL/GER and various other departments within TenneT and ensure taking into account lessons learned from other large projects
  • You contribute actively to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and contractors
 
Requirement
  • A bachelor or master’s degree in industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;0
  • You have extensive knowledge and experience (10 years +) as an Automation Engineer / Electrical Engineer, preferably within the offshore wind industry or oil & gas;
  • Experience with control of plants with different Scada systems
  • Experience with OPC and other communication protocol
  • Knowledge of international codes, norms and standards applicable to offshore designs;
  • Experience with offshore substations is a pre
  • You take your responsibility and ownership (committed); no 'nine to five-mentality'
  • You are a team player yourself
  • You have good communication and reporting skills and are able to organize and schedule activities well
  • You have experience in and affection with working within multi-national teams;
