As SCADA engineer you are part of SCADA working group responsible for the development of a corporate vision and strategy with regards to the automation of the offshore assets in Netherlands and Germany. You will work together with various SCADA experts from the Asset Management and Grid Service department and bring in state of the art knowledge with regards to SCADA/Automation.  
Tasks and responsibilities include: 

  • Contribute to the corporate SCADA working group and the project and provide state of the technical input to:
  • Develop a SCADA vision for the offshore assets in the Netherlands and Germany with a horizon up to 2030. 
  • Develop an implementation strategy for the SCADA vision within TenneT. Ensure support from all internal stakeholders. 
  • Develop a realization and procurement strategy for SCADA, taking into account a possible 'split' scenario. 
  • Collect and implement all lessons learned from AMO-G, AMO-NL, GSO and the projects.
  • Implement existing knowledge and lessons learnt into the vision, strategy and requirements. 
  • Translate the SCADA vision and implementation strategy into requirements for future tenders. 

Knowledge and experience requirements:

  • You have a Bachelor or preferable Master degree in IT/SCADA/Automation/Electrical engineer or a comparable discipline;
  • You have extensive knowledge and experience in Automation/SCADA/Process Control of large industrial plants;
  • Right to work in the EU.
  • Willingness to travel.
