Role Overview:We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and execute large-scale construction projects exceeding $50M. This role demands a proactive leader with a deep understanding of project management, construction operations, and strategic execution. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all contractual, financial, and operational aspects of assigned projects while ensuring alignment with company policies, quality standards, and strategic goals.Key Responsibilities:Establish and implement project objectives, policies, and performance standards in alignment with corporate goals.Oversee construction management, ensuring seamless coordination of field activities, resources, and labor.Drive project execution, upholding the company's standards for quality, safety, and client/subcontractor relations.Build and manage high-performing teams, coordinating with department heads to fill key project roles.Conduct contract reviews post-award to ensure project compliance and strategic alignment.Develop and oversee the implementation of Project Execution Plans and Quality Management Systems.Approve and enforce QA/QC procedures, ensuring adherence to project requirements.Act as the primary liaison for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and A/E contracts, maintaining strong relationships.Monitor and control project progress through administrative oversight of construction operations, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule compliance.Represent the company in client, subcontractor, and vendor meetings, ensuring effective communication and alignment.Lead project planning and progress meetings, ensuring teams remain focused on objectives.Submit detailed progress reports in accordance with contractual obligations.Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project performance and corporate objectives.Provide oversight for project scheduling, working with site managers to meet all construction and contractual deadlines.Maintain expert knowledge of project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets, ensuring compliance with all requirements.Implement motivational and performance management strategies to drive team efficiency, including reward and accountability measures.Provide regular status updates to executive leadership, coordinating input from project teams.Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by executive leadership.Reporting Structure:This position reports directly to the Project Director.Required Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).Experience: Minimum 15 years in construction project management, with a proven track record in large-scale projects.Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to drive performance and accountability.In-depth knowledge of corporate and industry practices, including contract administration, compliance, and risk management.Expertise in construction disciplines, union agreements, cost control, scheduling, and safety regulations.Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills to optimize project profitability and execution.This is a high-impact leadership role offering the opportunity to manage complex projects while driving operational excellence and strategic success. PRIMARY FUNCTIONWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer specializing in substation projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field and will be responsible for supporting electrical substations construction teams. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects. The position is required to provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, as well as be the teams direct link back to the broader engineering team on the project.ESSENTIAL DUTIES* Acting as the main technical expert on site, offering guidance to construction crews and subcontractors * Making sure that the project adheres to engineering and design specifications, industry standards, and construction regulations * Working independently or as part of the construction team to handle issues that arise. * Support the resolution of construction issues, deviations from plans, and unforeseen challenges. o Where issues cannot be resolved, have the capability to reach back to the home office design teams to obtain timely resolution. * Identifying potential risks and implementing preventive measures to minimize project delays, cost overruns and safety hazards. * Processing of submittals and RFI's * Maintain accurate project documentation for field markup * Support plan review and approval process with local and state municipalities, as required * Report to Project Engineering Manager and Project Manager on status of open issuesQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS* Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience in the construction of large high voltage substations * Strong technical background in the installation and operation of electrical equipment and associated subsystems * Familiarity with high, medium and low voltage installations, substation design, grounding, protection * Ability to collaborate with project team members and client entities, demonstrating the leadership capabilities to ensure a successful project * Excellent written and oral skills are required * P.E. license is not required, but preferredTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS * 10% travel to the Headquartersersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
