Position: Sourcing and Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland

Work pattern: Contract, hybrid

We are recruiting for a Sourcing and Supply Chain Specialist specialist to join our client and support the supply chain team across multiple commodities in the electrical industry.

DUTIES

  • Carry out & assess RFQs criteria across multiple commodities to local / global suppliers.
  • Support internal stakeholder/cross functional teams on New Product Introduction projects, Engineering Change Orders and engineering project teams on supplier quotes, supplier selection, pricing and on time delivery.
  • Lead cross functional periodic Supplier Reviews.
  • Support site Buyers / Production Quality / engineering for any escalations on component supply challenges.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of working in a sourcing and supply chain role (min 2 years), ideally within a engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory replenishment strategies & proven experience managing price & delivery negotiations.
  • Commercially astute with good negotiation, influencing and & problem-solving ability.
  • Strong communicator, proficient in MS Excel.

Desirable

  • Experience handling RFQs among global suppliers & stablishing / supporting Supplier Qualification, Approvals and Evaluation
  • Experience in driving on-going Supplier Reviews
  • Experience managing component shortage recovery & pro-actively managing Supply Chain risk mitigation strategies

Project Manager Location: Bridgewater, Somerset Work Pattern: Permanent, Full-Time We are urgently seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a leading technical and services company, working on a project at a nuclear plant. Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of contract or package activities, ensuring safety, timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with business and technical requirements. Develop and execute strategies and plans aligned with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP), outlining how the programme will be managed, organised, and implemented. Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders while delivering the project or PEP strategies within the assigned contract or package. Monitor and manage programme progress by tracking milestones, deadlines, and budget, providing detailed reports to key stakeholders. Requirements: Demonstrated experience in Project Management within large-scale, complex projects, preferably in regulated sectors such as the nuclear industry. Building services experience is also desirable. HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Professional certification in Project Management, such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or another recognized credential.
