Commissioning Supervisor

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Transmission & Distribution Location: Scotland, Glasgow Contract: Freelance / Contract Contract Type: NECOverview We are currently supporting a major infrastructure programme within the Scottish power and utilities market and are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of large-scale Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects across Scotland.This role sits within a long-term framework delivering critical national energy infrastructure and requires a commercially strong SQS with proven NEC experience.Key ResponsibilitiesFull post-contract commercial management of T&D and power infrastructure worksAdministration and management of NEC contracts, including compensation events and change controlCost control, forecasting and commercial reporting (CVRs)Subcontract procurement, account management, valuations and final accountsManaging variations, claims and commercial negotiationsWorking closely with project, engineering and client teams to ensure commercial complianceRequirementsDemonstrable experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level on power, utilities or major infrastructure projectsStrong working knowledge of NEC contractsExperience on transmission, distribution, substations or similar heavy infrastructure schemes highly desirableRobust post-contract commercial backgroundAbility to operate autonomously within complex, framework-led environmentsersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. Our Client requires electricians for a 12-Month+ residential solar contract role based in Manchester and the surrounding areas.The Ideal candidates will have residential inverter installation and BESS (battery energy storage) experience. This is a long-term renewable contract, offering consistent work with 2 installations per day, secured for up to 5 years or moreApplicants will need to have a valid ECS card, DBS checks and must hold one of the following solar and battery certifications:EALLCLBPECThe role is paid on a daily rate, per day worked. Training can be provided.
