As a Deputy Fabrication Manager, you provide assistance to the Fabrication Manager for the execution of the fabrication supply contract. Since the fabrication is in the Asia-Pacific area, you are required to expatriate for 2-3 years. Please be aware that due to the location of multiple fabrication yards, traveling is expected.
Your tasks will be
? Assist and support the Fabrication Manager and and ensure that the components meet the contractual requirements in terms of quality, time and costs
? Support the Fabrication Manager in follow-up on Technical Queries and Non-Conformity Reports
? Assist with the implementation of changes and/or variations
? Establish and manage a close collaboration with Quality Inspection Team (NDT & Coating Inspectors)
? Support in the setup of an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP)
? Support the Fabrication Manager in Weekly & Monthly Fabrication Progress meetings with the contractors and provide detailed input to the Fabrication Progress Reports
? Strong focus on Weekly HSE matters together with the Quality Inspection Team
? Provide assistance in the review of contractors work procedures, e.g. WPS/WPQR, Coating Manual, NDT procedures, etc.
? Assist in Review of As-Built and Final documentation
? Gather lesson learned

Your profile
? You MUST be based in Taiwan
? Preferably you hold a bachelor´s degree in engineering, preferably within mechanical or manufacturing engineering or are educated as either IWI, IWS, IWT, IWE or CWI.
? You have professional experience in the fabrication management of offshore foundation structures, preferably Jackets and/or Transition Pieces.
? You have insight into project management- and fabrication processes.
? You are familiar with FIDIC.
? FROSIO Inspector Level II or III, NACE Coating Inspector Level III or equivalent would be an advantage.
? NDT certification according to ISO 9712, min. VT Level II and/or all other methods would be an advantage.
? You are characterized by a practical and responsible approach that enables you to keep track of the project progress at any time even in a sometimes hectic environment.
? As a team player, you support and contribute to an open and trustworthy working environment.
? You are fluent in English and enjoy working with various international partners and suppliers. It would be an advantage if you already bring experience and a great understanding of the Asian culture with you.
