We're looking for an experienced Head of Development to be part of our clients core leadership team. Focus on driving technology capabilities, knowledge and approach within our most important portfolios.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and proactive leader, who is comfortable in shaping the direction and requirements of the department, mentoring team members in best practice, Agile delivery. A confident communicator who will develop senior relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
A background in implementing successful process and development standards. Tasked with inspiring and leading a mixed team of developers, publishers, quality assurance analysts, and leading the direction of the technical department and its processes within the UK.
This role will predominately work on main clients, across various projects and with cross agency teams in Creative, Experiential, Project Management and Digital. You will also be responsible for leading developers from European offices for flagship product launches.
You need to be comfortable in front of clients as the agencies technical lead, and converse in a way that ensures clients are confident in our ability and embrace our solutions rather than being confused by technical jargon.

Responsibilities:
Team:
Line managing. directing, shaping and developing a team Jnr to Snr developers
Line managing team leads of QA & AEM Publishing teams

Process:
Identify and helping evolve and shape the structure of the Technical Department, and the implementation of best practices within technical delivery.

Project:
Being an escalation point within the technical department
Taking ownership of the output and quality of the development team and any offshore and European
