The Project Environment Manager role reports to the Capital Projects Environment Manager. They are the responsible environmental authority for all capital projects progressed through the development and construction gate stages encompassing Large Capital Projects Gates 1 to 5. The Environment Manager is an assigned resource to relevant projects and is responsible for ensuring all environmental legislative requirements and any commitments made via planning submissions and consents are adhered to and discharged accordingly.

  • Knowledge, expertise, experience and qualifications in a relevant environmental discipline such as ecology, construction environmental management, environmental legislation and policy and environmental sciences.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body
  • Project Management
  • Budgetary Management
  • Experience of ISO 14001 and internal auditing
  • Experienced in liaising with Regulators, Agencies, NGO's and Planning Authorities
  • Contractor Management
  • Experience of coordinating stakeholder groups, meetings and events
