Senior Commissioning Engineer
1 - TP141 Advanced
2 - Worked on UK National Grid Sites as a lead commissioning engineer - not for just replacement works ie a Tx only, must have ran a small feeder type job
2 - Excellent knowledge of 400kV equipment and schemes:
I - 400/220/33kV HV Cables, 275kV Harmonic Filters, 220kV GIS Switchgear (Siemens ideally), 400/220/33kV SGTs, 220kV Reactors, 33kV SVC's (Siemens ideally), Siemens SIPROTEC 5, Areva Protection relays, SCADA Systems, LVAC Boards (CHARNVEL), LVDC battery chargers (DALE), Electrical & Mechanical Interlocking (CASTELL), Primary Inject skills, 400kV Schemes testing abilities.
3 - Excellent reporting skills - daily reports, technical reports, progress reporting
4 - To be able to attend site daily meetings with subcontractor
5 - To be able to write commissioning switching programmes and support SAPs
7 - Must be mature with experience, this means that he must have more than 10 years' experience in the industry ie check the CV to make sure its not just his last job he is selling
8 - Ideally UK origin - this is due to possible COVID considerations
9 - Must be hard working and be prepared to put the hours in during the peak times - which will come at us
