Assignment description
We are now looking for a Strategic Sustainability Specialist for GHG data & KPI management for one of our clients in Offshore Wind.
Business Area Wind is responsible for our clients Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like PV/Solar. Today our client develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, they have a clear strategy to further expand our Solar operations.
The purpose of the "Environment & Sustainability Unit" is to support BA Wind lifting sustainability into every aspect of our business and facilitating co-existence of renewable energy development with society and a rich natural environment.
Our clients BA Wind Environment & Sustainability Unit is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Environment & Sustainability specialist. ?
Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Set-up a monitoring system and dashboard capturing BA Wind's scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Facilitate GHG data collection from different departments, and connect to the bigger picture.
  • Support in identifying GHG emission reduction potential in the organisation and developing GHG reduction targets.


What we are looking for:
We are looking for a motivated candidate who wants to make impact by contributing to our clients renewable energy projects and who:

  • Holds an MSc degree in the field of Environment/Sustainability, Engineering, IT or similar, and has at least 5 years of working experience.
  • Has strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate complex information in an easy to understand way.
  • Has experience in developing dashboards, for example in PowerBI.
  • Has preferably experience with greenhouse gas accounting and/or Life Cycle Assessment.
  • Is pro-active, innovative, and a team-player.
  • Has project management skills (meet deadlines and priorities tasks).
  • Is fluent in written and spoken English; a second language such as Dutch, German, Swedish or Danish would be valuable.
