A leading client of ours has an urgent need for a contract GIS specalist.
This is a monthly rolling contract - fully remote and outside of IR35.
Monday 14th June 2021 start.

The Role:

• ArcGIS
• Working with ArcMap MXD's and ArcGIS Pro projects
• Geoprocessing by means of the ArcToolbox, running tools in batch.
• Charting with knowledge of Data driven pages, alignment charts and cross profiles
• Creation of file geodatabase
• Working with geodatabase attributes for large datasets using Field Calculator
• Working with IOGP SSDM geodatabase
• Working with mosaic datasets
• Working with coordinate systems and projections
• Creation of ISO metadata according to the different ArcGIS Metadata Styles
• Geoprocessing and file format conversion by means of additional software as e.g., QGis/Global Mapper.
• Working with The MEDIN portal, creation of Medin data and metadata,
• Knowledge of Python/ArcPy, ModelBuilder and CAD is considered as an advantage.
• As GIS work in general is quite specific, we also consider it to be important that candidates are able to:
• Work independently.
• Communicate and report clearly.
