National Electrical Contractor is seeking Heavy Equipment Operator for a Transmission Line Project starting at end of the month.

• Safe operation of a variety of transmission equipment i.e. digger derrick, bucket trucks, wire pulling equipment.
• Maintain knowledge for use of auxiliary equipment to prepare, locate, install, schedule, set and remove poles.
• Responsible for daily inspection of equipment and perform basic repair and maintenance as needed to ensure the safe working condition of all equipment.
• Read and understand various types of load charts.
• Maintain a clean work environment.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of a variety of heavy construction vehicles and equipment.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of routine and preventative maintenance of heavy construction vehicles and equipment.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
• Knowledge of safe load securing practices/rigging experience is a plus.
• Understanding of hand signals.
• NCCER certification is a plus.
• CDL license is a plus.
