* Assess and challenge the projects presented by the different partners to the development team, from an environmental perspective. * Work within a multidisciplinary team to produce and disseminate detailed reports which assess the feasibility of sites for development which will include: landcover and topographical studies, environmental constraints assessments such as ecology & ornithology, noise, shadow flicker, geotechnics and hydrology, aviation, telecommunications and visual impact, modelling and assessments. * Assist in ensuring that all statutory and other external and internal approvals are obtained for ongoing projects within the Development and Operations Divisions. * Field work as required, including site surveying, site environmental inspections, site audits and report compilation. * Scoping and managing the procurement of Planning and Environmental services from external consultants in accordance with best practice. * Assisting in the preparation and management of consultancy contracts for project work * Provision of GIS and mapping support to ensure HSSE Policies and Procedures are implemented, HSSE audit requirements are fulfilled and demonstrate a commitment to Safety Culture. * Delivery of competent technical review of internal and external environmental reports, studies and environmental management documents. * Provision of expert environmental input, advice and support as required within the Development Division. * Provision of support to the M&A Team via assisting in Technical Due Diligence of potential project acquisitions. * Reporting regularly to your manager and to the team with updates on project progress, workloads, budget management etc. * Liaison with local and statutory authorities, environmental organizations and landowners as required to ensure legislative and best practice standards are adhered to * Delivery of presentations and reports as necessary, requiring high levels of written and verbal communication skills. * Attendance and input at meetings, such as site meetings, planning meetings, team meetings etc. * Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your manager.
