Responsibilities
- Proactively drive the technical value engineering of customer projects and lead technical negotiations as an active member of the Sales team
- Leading a team of three (3) to deliver outstanding results for the firm
- Ensure timely responses to customer enquiries, prepare clarifications and possible deviations to tenders
- You are expected to take the full responsibility for the technical solution through to closing of the deal
Qualifications
- Engineering background (Mechanical or Civil preferred, alternatively Electrical, Industrial, Renewable or similar) combined with commercial insight/interest or commercial background with strong interest in understanding of technical aspects
- Prior experience leading technical negotiations, ideally of heavy machinery, power plant equipment or similar, is a significant benefit
- Previous experience in wind energy or industrial plant environment is a plus but not required
- Fluent in English and Japanese both spoken and written is essential
