Azure Data Migration Specialist | 1x per week in Reading

The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure data migration tools and technologies, as well as a strong understanding of data migration best practices, including data reconciliation.

Key responsibilities:

· Work with project team to understand the data migration and reconciliation requirements and to develop data migration plans
· Design and implement data migration solutions using Azure Data Factory and associated Azure technologies
· Perform data migration trials and troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues
· Develop and execute reconciliation tests/reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness
· Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful data migration and integration with existing systems
· Document data migration processes and procedures


Experience:

· 3+ years of experience in data migration, with a focus on Azure cloud-based solutions
· Strong understanding of data migration best practices and methodologies
· Experience with Azure data migration tools and technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Migration Service, and Azure Cosmos Database
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
