We are seeking a versatile professional who seamlessly blends the expertise of Network specialist and Azure IOT Developer in Python, with a primary emphasis on network skills. This is to help bulding the network system around our Uncrewed Survey Vessels and to implement new sensor types.
Contracted ours will be 10 per week. (2hrs per day)
Skills and Expertise:
* Network Configuration and Management: Proficient in VLAN, NAT, VPN, and router configurations, both in cloud environments and physical devices. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network architectures to ensure seamless communication between IoT devices and cloud services.
* Linux OS Proficiency: Possesses a strong understanding of Linux operating system configurations, leveraging this knowledge to optimize IoT device performance and ensure compatibility with network protocols and security standards.
* Azure IoT Development: Skilled in developing Azure IoT solutions using Python, with a focus on Azure IoT Edge and IoT Gateway devices.
* Bonus will be capability of integrating various sensors and measurement systems into IoT networks to collect and analyze data efficiently.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues within IoT networks, leveraging both network diagnostic tools and programming expertise to maintain optimal functionality and data integrity.
* Collaborative Team Player: Excels in cross-functional teams, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Able to adapt to evolving project requirements and contribute to innovative solutions through active collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Experience:
Successfully deployed and managed Azure IoT solutions in conjunction with robust network infrastructures, optimizing data transmission and ensuring secure communication channels.
* Designed and implemented VLAN segmentation strategies to enhance network security and performance, effectively isolating IoT device traffic while maintaining seamless connectivity to cloud services.
* Leveraged Linux-based tools and utilities to automate IoT device provisioning and management processes, streamlining deployment workflows and reducing operational overhead.
* Provided technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional certifications in Azure IoT development and network administration are preferred.
