A leading DC gaishikei developer is looking for a talented HSE professional to help support the operations of several hyperscale data centers across the Kanto region.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Advising on health, safety, and risk to build a safety culture within Business Operations.
  • Embed safety as a core value by engaging with workers, management, and contractors.
  • Lead incident management processes for a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Support risk management activities across Business Operations.
  • Implement EHS management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with legal safety requirements and internal management system standards.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and suppliers for safety outcomes.
  • Support critical EHS initiatives, programs, and projects.
  • Provide EHS training, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Enhance EHS management systems for actionable improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience of HSE management.
  • Certified Health Officer (at least type 2). (第二衛生管理者)
  • Fluency in English and Business level Japanese.
  • Experience in auditing and inspecting internal and third-party processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of risk management, auditing, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing safety management systems.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Experience of HSE management in a data center, plant or construction context.
  • Understanding of domestic and western HSE best practices.
  • Other applicable HSE qualifications (NEBOSH,OSHA,IOSH, Dangerous Goods Handler etc)
