A major gaishikei wind energy company is looking for a grid specialist to support the onshore and offshore grid project works for a large scale upcoming wind farm.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project engineering teams, particularly the Project Engineering Manager and Project Engineering Director, both domestically and internationally.
- Review engineering documents such as equipment layouts, schematics, cable schedules, and technical specifications.
- Possess knowledge of electrical protection systems, Balance of Plant (LVAC, DC, UPS), safety interlocking systems, and electrical components.
- Understand international standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO) and Japanese design codes and regulations.
- Manage technical communication with clients, suppliers, and European design teams.
Requirements
- Proficient in business English communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Desired Skills/Qualifications
- Possess a solid understanding and knowledge of Japanese grid code.
- Minimum Business level fluency in Japanese.
