A regional renewable energy developer is currently looking for a talented HSE professional to join their gorwing HSE team in Tokyo.
As an HSSE Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HSSE Manager by coordinating the development, updating, and implementation of HSSE Management documents, ensuring effective communication and safe operation of the business.
- Develop and maintain the contractor HSSE capability list.
- Execute contractor evaluations and ensure follow-up actions.
- Establish proactive communication with stakeholders.
- Develop, update, and review HSSE Risk Management standards and procedures.
- Support HSE Risk Management activities for projects.
- Engage in weekly HSE meetings and provide progress reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in HSSE management, risk assessment, and contractor coordination.
- Strong understanding of HSSE regulations in a plant based or construction context.
- Business level fluency in Japanese and English. (JLPT N2 and above, TOEIC 600 and above)
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification in HSSE (OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, 安全管理者 etc)
- Previous site based experience in the energy or construction industry.
- Familiarity with local HSE regulations.
