• Preparation of duct trench
• Testing upon delivery of Hv & fibre cables
• Duct installation
• Preparation to pull cable
• Transportation of cables across Project
• Supervision of cable system pulls
• Testing of equipment after pulls
• Knowledge of excavation
• Ability to read Electrical Drawings
• Knowledge of large 132KV to 400Kv Cable Projects.

• Ability to plan
• Experience working for a subcontractor
• Good Communicator
• SSE authorisations would be useful
• Ability to create daily reports
• Health & Safety awareness
• Working in close proximity to live apparatus
