Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced mobilisation engineer to oversee and coordinate a modification project on the spuds cans of their vessel.
You will be responsible for managing the subcontractors, ensuring the quality and safety of the work, and reporting the progress and issues to the senior project team. Job Responsibilities: - Plan and supervise the mobilisation and docking of the vessel at the yard - Monitor and inspect the modification of the Rock Tips (inside the Spud Cans) by the subcontractor - Ensure the compliance of the work with the specifications, standards, and regulations - Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational problems that may arise - Communicate effectively with the project manager, the subcontractor, and the vessel crew - Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation of the work Job Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of experience as a supervisor or engineer in the marine industry - Knowledge and experience of jackup vessels, spuds cans, Rock Tips, and foundations - Ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors in the yard - Strong technical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
