Senior Test Analyst - 3-6 Months - Inside IR35

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Assist in the delivery of testing of technology solutions with a focus on quality across your workstream
  • Establish and maintain highly effective relationships with delivery teams, stakeholders, and business teams
  • Act as a test subject matter expert, sharing knowledge with other members of the team
  • Collaborate with Delivery Leads to help define delivery plans
  • Defining test data and environment requirements
  • Produce detailed estimates for testing activities
  • Producing and executing tests based on requirements and user stories
  • Monitoring performance of testing activity
  • Coordinate and report on test activities
  • Follow the defect lifecycle process including defect triage
  • Assist the Delivery Manager in the identification of initiatives to deliver innovative improvements to the test process
  • Be able to represent Testing in daily SCRUM and progress meetings
  • Be able to use and contribute to Azure DevOps.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Display a solid understanding of testing best practice and the development lifecycle with good experience of applying this knowledge
  • Ability to adapt testing processes to optimise delivery of outcomes
  • Experience of applying risk-based testing techniques
  • Be competent in the use of multiple test management tools
  • Ability to size estimates for testing requirements.
  • Shows a high level of planning aptitude
  • Articulate with outstanding written, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Customer focused approach
  • Have a flexible approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines and/or changing priorities
  • Demonstrate the ability to review and critique current processes and recommend innovative solutions to problems
