Job Summary:

The T&I Manager is responsible for overseeing the transportation, installation, and commissioning of wind turbine foundations. This role requires a combination of project management skills, technical knowledge of wind turbine structures, and an understanding of logistics and marine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transportation and installation strategies for wind turbine foundations.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure the design of foundations aligns with transportation and installation requirements.
  • Manage contracts and liaise with vendors and subcontractors for the delivery and installation of foundations.
  • Oversee the on-site installation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with marine operations to plan and execute the offshore installation of foundations.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, reporting any deviations to the senior management.
  • Ensure all transportation and installation activities adhere to environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for transportation and installation phases.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team.
  • Facilitate communication between different project teams, including design, procurement, and construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine foundation designs and installation techniques.
  • Knowledge of maritime operations and logistics.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
