A specialist in the renewable energy industry are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer delivery technical packages related to the design of fixed-bottom and floating support structures for offshore wind turbines.

You will be directly responsible for some of the following;

• Drafting robust geotechnical interpretive.
• Specifying and delivering laboratory test schedules including relevant geotechnical testing under the right conditions for the geological setting, foundation concept, design methodology and material under test.
• Implementing advanced geotechnical numerical modelling

• An excellent understanding of soil mechanics.
• A demonstrable experience with finite element analysis software.
• Plaxis3D experience
