Based in Norddeich, the engineer ensures safe and efficient control of electrical systems, adhering strictly to our client's Electrical Safety Rules, and acts as an authorized switching operator.Key Responsibilities:Perform authorized switching operations in collaboration with offshore teams.Monitor and coordinate operations via SCADA systems.Act as the primary interface with the national grid operator Develop, review, and implement switching protocols and obtain necessary execution permits.Participate in risk assessments related to offshore work (Work Authorization processes).Monitor and respond to alarms from SCADA and IT systems.Coordinate immediate response actions in the event of faults.Provide safety instruction to external contractors working in the electrical sector.Support fault diagnosis and resolution, including generating work orders in SAP. Electrical Field Engineer

ERSG is seeking a dedicated and motivated Electrical Field Engineer to support a major wind farm project in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a large-scale renewable energy initiative, working alongside a professional team on the installation, monitoring, and quality assurance of the underground electrical collection system and medium-voltage infrastructure.This position requires a strong electrical background, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to collaboration. The ideal candidate will be on-site full-time and will split their time between office-based responsibilities and field oversight.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the installation and commissioning of underground electrical collection systems and medium-voltage (MV) cables.Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, electrical codes, and quality standards.Monitor and report on project progress, including scheduling, budgeting, and change order tracking.Assist with quality control, including documentation, issue resolution, and coordination with contractors and vendors.Collaborate with engineering, construction, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.Maintain safety standards and contribute to a culture of safe work practices across the site.
