Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project Manager

We are looking for a BESS Project Manager (Site Based) on behalf of our client for a 6 month rolling contract for an asap start for a project in Hampshire.

The Ideal candidate would be an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project from concept to completion.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring performance, quality, safety, and financial targets are achieved.

Responsibilities include leading and developing the project team, overseeing detailed planning and resource allocation, liaising with clients to interpret requirements, negotiating timescales and budgets, and maintaining strong relationships throughout each project's lifecycle. You will ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards, manage contractors and suppliers to achieve best value, and report progress, risks, and resolutions to the Contracts Manager.

Candidates must have proven project management experience within an engineering environment, with a strong track record delivering BESS projects and associated grid connections.
