HVDC Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (EICA) to join a multidisciplinary team delivering impactful water and energy projects across the UK.Key ResponsibilitiesLead or support the design and integration of EICA systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including MCCs, VSDs, instrumentation, and control systems.Collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineers to deliver holistic solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory standards.Provide technical assurance across all project stages, from feasibility and optioneering through to commissioning and handover.Contribute to strategic planning and development of EICA capabilities within water and energy teams.Mentor junior engineers and assist with project planning and client engagement. ExperienceDegree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards it.Strong understanding of water treatment processes and associated EICA systems.Experience with energy systems such as renewables, battery storage, or hydrogen (desirable).Ability to produce cost-effective EICA designs and deliverables, including single-line diagrams, cable block diagrams, MCC layouts, and control specifications.
