Design Team Manager | 12 Month Contract | Outside IR35I am on the lookout for a Design Team Manager on a 12 month contract for a construction firm in London. This will be a hybrid setup with 3 days per week in their London office. Key expereience/Responsibilities: Co-managing a team of 12 Electrical Engineers and 3 CAD Technicians.Managing the delivery of electrical designs to support 4G & 5G infrastructure being installed on the London Underground.Previous LU / TfL project experience preferable but not essential.Strong knowledge of electrical design processes, deliverables, and software packages required.Role may suit a Senior / Principle / Associate Electrical Engineer with experience managing teams and projects, or a Design Manager with a sufficient technical background.Would suit someone who has worked contractor side and not exclusively consultancy.Some key responsibilities:Managing the design programme.Liaising with the client / third parties.Dealing with design issues and supporting the rest of the team with their design work.Carrying out technical reviews of electrical design packages.Providing management support to the CAD team.Organising surveys (these are carried out on our behalf by our installation team).Managing resource, assisting with further recruitment if required.Raising queries to the client and TfL, taking the blockers from engineer's designs upstream to find resolutions.Hold third parties & client to account when requiring information for designs or responses on queries/blockers.If interested, interviews will be commencing over the next couple of weeks with an aim to start in August. ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. ersg is searching for a PV/Solar Commissioning Manager on behalf of multinational Solar EPC client. Our client, boasts an extensive pipeline of utility-scale Solar projects that require commissioning across Europe. Successful candidates will be responsible for commissioning projects above 50MW each project.This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Three years or more of commissioning large utility-scale (>50MW) solar projects. Ideally, experience of working across multiple European countries, and demonstrable understanding of working to FIDIC frameworks.Applicants should be used to managing people, and multiple projects concurrently. Senior / Principal Civil Engineer (Drainage - Rail) Location: Remote working / Ad-hoc office visits Outisde IR35Role PurposeWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer with specialist expertise in drainage design for rail infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and delivery of drainage solutions in line with Network Rail standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
