Senior Offshore HSE Advisor - Romania (Black Sea)We are currently supporting a major offshore oil & gas project in the Black Sea and are looking for an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join the team on a rotational basis.This role will act as the key HSE focal point offshore, ensuring all operations are carried out in line with company procedures, international standards, and local regulations while driving a strong safety culture across the workforce.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support all offshore HSE activitiesEnsure compliance with HSE management systems and ISO standardsConduct risk assessments (TRA, HAZID) and support SIMOPSMonitor Permit to Work (PTW) system implementationLead incident investigations and reportingDeliver toolbox talks and safety briefingsSupport emergency response planning and drillsRequirements:10+ years Oil & Gas HSE experienceStrong offshore experience (drilling, construction, or installation)NEBOSH Diploma or equivalentBOSIET / FOET and valid offshore medicalExperience with PTW, SIMOPS, and incident investigationPrevious experience in the Black Sea or similar offshore environments is highly advantageous.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. Provide EHS leadership and guidance on a land clearance project, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in line with legal and company requirementsConduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement appropriate control measuresDevelop, review, and maintain method statements, risk assessments (RAMS), and EHS documentationEnsure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental legislation and relevant industry standardsMonitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to agreed safety proceduresInvestigate incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches, and implement corrective actionsDeliver toolbox talks, inductions, and ongoing safety training to site personnelLiaise with project stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies as requiredSupport environmental management, including waste handling, biodiversity considerations, and pollution prevention ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
