We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major renewable energy infrastructure scheme and play a key role in the successful installation and energisation of grid-scale energy systems. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day electrical installation activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesThe Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for supervising LV and HV electrical installation activities across the BESS project while managing subcontractors, electrical teams, and specialist suppliers on site. The role will involve ensuring all works are completed in accordance with HSEQ standards, project specifications, and programme requirements. You will review and implement RAMS, permits, and safe systems of work while coordinating daily site activities with project management and commissioning teams. The role will also include supporting QA/QC inspections, snagging, and handover documentation, monitoring progress against programme milestones, and assisting during energisation and commissioning phases.RequirementsCandidates should have previous experience working as an Electrical Supervisor on renewable energy, BESS, solar, HV, or substation projects with a strong understanding of LV and HV electrical systems. Applicants should hold SSSTS or SMSTS certification alongside a valid ECS or CSCS card. Strong subcontractor management and site coordination experience is essential, along with a proactive approach to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Environmental Clerk of Works
