We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Dublin. Team Lead - Substation Electrical DesignAbout the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Team Lead (Electrical Design - Substations) to join our clients team.The successful candidate will be based in the Dublin office (with flexibility to work from one of the other office locations).Travel to and from site may occasionally be required, but this will be predominantly an office-based position. As Team Lead, the successful candidate will be taking on an engineering management role on major Power, Renewable & Substation projects. You will be responsible for identifying, managing, and coordinating all electrical design requirements and deliverables on substation projects. You will be involved in technical and strategic decision making. You will be a team leader, and provide mentoring, support and technical development to team members. You will ensure that all design outputs meet the required technical, quality and safety standards. Our client is hiring due to growth, going from 1 transformer projects to delivering over 100 projects in the UK. Candidates with experience of working on major projects, building relationships and selling to TSOs or DNOs.This role requires technical acumen, understanding the value proposition of non-SF6 switchgear vs SF6 switchgear. It is essential that you have experience of selling to HV projects (132kV to 400kV). Primary Substation Engineer (Distribution)The Primary Substation Engineer is responsible for the design and delivery of primary substation projects across the electrical distribution network.
