We are seeking an experienced Site-Based Civil Supervisor to support the Site Manager on a major long-term project. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will play a key part in supervising works, managing subcontractors, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
This position is offered on a 6-month rolling contract for the duration of a 2-year project.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily site activity, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all works are carried out in line with programme, safety, and quality requirements.
You will act as a key point of contact on site, providing supervision, guidance, and accurate reporting to keep the project running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities
Ensure full compliance with CDM Regulations and company HSQE policies
Implement and monitor Safe Systems of Work, including issuing Permits to Dig
Set teams to work and monitor progress throughout each task and project phase
Ensure works are delivered to programme while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental performance
Produce regular site reports and provide timely, accurate feedback to the Site Manager
Ensure agreed KPIs are met or exceeded
Support the generation of as-built drawings and maintain quality standards throughout the project
Promote best practice and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared
Lead by example in health, safety, quality, and environmental management
