Planning EngineerPurpose of the PositionAs a Planning Engineer, you will report to the Planning Manager and support the Offshore Wind business line. You will play a key role in ensuring the development, monitoring, and control of the project schedule, particularly during tendering phases.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop the project schedule in line with contractual requirements and internal standards, ensuring feasibility and identifying risks or criticalities.Implement and maintain the planning and progress control system.Monitor and analyse deviations from the plan, proposing corrective actions when necessary.Promote schedule awareness across all project stakeholders.Prepare and maintain the 90-day look-ahead schedule, weekly schedule, and monthly schedule.Support the Project Control Manager with the preparation of Project Status Reports.Provide time impact analysis for contract amendments and claims.Participate in risk management activities, including schedule risk analysis.RequirementsExperience: 5-10 years in planning activities within the offshore Oil & Gas industry; experience in offshore wind projects preferred.Education: HNC, HND, or bachelor's degree.Technical Skills: Strong background in planning tendering project phases, T&I, and ideally EPCI projects.IT Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.Must reside in the UK with full, permanent right-to-work status (no sponsorship available).ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. Job Title: Document Controller (Aconex)Location: South of Liverpool, UK (Office-based, 5 days per week)Company Overview: Our client is a major civil engineering contractor that has rapidly expanded, doubling in size over the last 18 months to become a Tier 1 contractor. With a growing portfolio of high-profile projects, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Document Controller to join their expanding team.Role Overview: As a Document Controller, you will play a key role in managing, controlling, and maintaining project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth communication across all project stakeholders. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIESSourcing and supply chain:Establish a deep understanding of the market for the services, materials and equipment required for offshore wind projectsIdentify and assess the capabilities of potential suppliers to deliver projects needs on time, on budget, with the relevant performance and delivery guarantees.Expedite selected supplier's capability to deliver products and services according to Procurement:RFP management: Receive, analyse, tabulate bids, and prepare During the tender, other related activities imply the coordination of the internal stakeholders which are part of the negotiation such as legal or technical departments.Set out contractual documents that are fully compliant to support our business needs which are legally binding, mitigate any and all commercial risksSupporthandling/assessment of claims, acting together with the project management, team members, internal lawyers.Suppliers' management:Work with the Supply Chain and Local stakeholders to manage and develop solid relations with the related suppliers across the supply chain.Analyses trends and forecasts within the marketplace with respect to suppliers, price/cost, quality, availability and technological change.Understand supplier's capability to deliver products and services according to requirements.Drive appropriate suppliers' performance through effective PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years of experience with sourcing of goods and services, preferably related to renewable energy or offshore industries. Experience in other roles in commercial, legal, contract management, or tendering positions would be considered fulfilling with the below mentioned skills.Knowledge of procurement and supply chainDeep understanding of cost drivers, costs breakdown analysis,Knowledge of industry standards contracts will be Understanding of contract law (preferably FIDIC / BIMCO / LOGIC contract styles).
