Leeds, West Yorkshire £450 - £550 per day Our client is seeking experienced Pre-Construction Managers to lead multi-disciplinary design and engineering teams across major projects. This role will ensure the successful transition from pre-construction through to delivery, driving technical assurance, buildability, and commercial efficiency.You will work closely with design, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are practical, cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with programme requirements. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are key to ensuring seamless project execution.The position may require managing multiple projects simultaneously, with occasional travel to office and site locations.Key ResponsibilitiesReview tender documentation to understand client and project requirementsSupport estimating and commercial teams with risk/opportunity assessmentsProvide input into cost estimates and programme assumptionsRespond to technical and design-related tender queriesLead constructability and design assurance reviewsProvide delivery input into project schedules and quality plansSupport development of risk registers and project HSQE documentationEnsure a smooth design-to-construction handover processResolve design and coordination issues throughout the construction cycleEnsure design intent and quality standards are maintainedCapture lessons learned to inform continuous improvementCandidate ProfileOur client is looking for individuals with strong technical grounding, commercial awareness, and proven leadership capability within complex project environments.
